Credit & Investments Ombudsman (CIO) (formerly Credit Ombudsman Service Ltd (COSL)) is an external dispute resolution scheme for the financial services industry that independently resolves disputes between member financial service providers, including those engaged in credit activities, and consumers.  CIO attempts to resolve disputes between members providing financial and credit services and consumers.
